Great opportunity to work as a Contaminants Project Coordinator for our client, one of the largest producers and distributors of snack foods and drinks in the UK and Europe at the forefront of food manufacturing technology.

Staffline is recruting Contaminants Project Coordinators in Leicester.

The rate of pay is £23.00 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- 9am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

As a Contaminants Project Coordinator you'll be responsible for:

- Coordinating day-to-day planning and execution activities for the contaminants compliance programme.
- Working with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Food Safety, Product Development, Procurement and other internal functions to determine and implement a compliant approach.
- Liaise directly with suppliers to communicate regulatory requirements and clearly explain the evidence and documentation expected from them.
- Coordinate a small team responsible for supplier engagement and document collection.
- Track programme activities, milestones, dependencies, risks and outstanding supplier responses.
- Surface challenges, delays and roadblocks promptly to the Programme Lead.
- Obtain, collate and quality-check supplier compliance documentation.
- Ensure documentation is accurately stored and maintained in the relevant document management system.
- Provide clear status updates and support programme reporting for stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project processes and supplier engagement approaches.

What we're looking for:

- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow actions through to completion.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and manage relationships in a matrix organisation and influence without direct authority.
- Confidence and professionalism when engaging external parties, particularly suppliers.
- Good attention to detail and competence using Microsoft Office tools and document management systems.

Preferred:

- Experience in the FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer products industry.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance programmes or working with food ingredient and raw material specifications.
- Experience working across European or multi-country teams and supplier networks.
- A higher education degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs or another food-related discipline.
