Front of House Security Receptionist

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well-known site in Cambridge!
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour, with an end-of-year £2,000 discretionary bonus!
Hours: 40 hours a week contract, Monday - Friday
Shift Timings: 14:00hrs to 2200hrs
Please be aware that this role requires standing so you must be comfortable with this.

SIA Licence: Must have a DS SIA licence.
Your Time at Work
As a Front of House Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Welcome and register visitors, contractors and guests.
- Manage site access and ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
- Operate the reception desk and switchboard, responding to enquiries professionally.
- Answer and transfer incoming calls, taking accurate messages when required.
- Maintain visitor records and ensure all visitors are appropriately escorted.
- Support meeting room bookings and hospitality arrangements.
- Monitor reception and surrounding areas, reporting security concerns promptly.
- Update internal noticeboards and communications.
- Assist with mailroom and administrative duties as required.
- Ensure reception areas remain tidy, professional and compliant with workplace standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors and stakeholders.
- Support wider facilities and workplace teams with ad hoc administrative tasks.
