Forklift Reach & Counterbalance Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation.
Staffline is recruiting Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operatives in Telford.
The rate of pay is £12.94 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £16.17 per hour.
This is a full-time position working a 3 days on, 3 days off shift pattern, from 06:00 to 18:00.
This role would suit an experienced FLT operative looking for a stable position, consistent shifts and the opportunity to work within a well-organised warehouse environment.
Your Time at Work
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operating reach and counterbalance forklift trucks.
- Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Moving, storing and replenishing stock within the warehouse.
- Completing put-away and order-picking duties accurately.
- Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues.
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets.

Requirements:
- A valid and in-date Reach and Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Previous warehouse or forklift experience.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to support the wider warehouse operation.
- Experience within the FMCG or distribution sector would be advantageous, but it is not essential, as full training and site-specific induction will be provided.
