We are looking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join our team producing high-quality ready-to-eat meals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with both full-time and part-time positions available.
Transport is available from Derby City Centre for £5!
Staffline is recruiting Food Production Operatives in Melton Mowbray.
The rate of pay is £12.86 - £13.51 per hour.
This role offers both full and part-time positions and the hours of work are:
Full-Time:
- Sunday 6:30am to 2:30pm
- Monday - Thursday 2:30pm to 10:30pm
Part-Time:
- Friday, Saturday + Sunday 2:30pm to 10:30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Food Production Operative your duties include:
- Preparing, assembling, and packing ready-to-eat meals.
- Working on production lines to meet daily production targets.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at all times.
- Handling and working with a variety of meat products, including: Pork, Beef, Chicken, Lamb.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Supporting colleagues to ensure efficient production.
Please note that there will be some heavy lifting depending on department.

What we're looking for:
- Comfortable handling and working with all types of meat products.
- Able to work in a cold environment.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends as required.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Able to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks.
Previous food production experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
