A great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our clients site who deal with fresh pork and lamb processing, Cooked Bacon, Gammon and slow cooked meat
Staffline are recruiting for Production Operatives in Bodmin.
The hours of work are:
- 7am to 4:30pm
- 6:15am to 4:15pm
- 4pm to 12am
- 10pm to 6am
The rate of pay is £12.90-£14.41 per hour
Overtime is paid at x1.5
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative your role will include:
- Working with the rest of the team on the line to fulfil specification, quantity and time requirements for production
- Keep up to speed with the production line and work to the standards set by the line manager.
- Fully understand different quality requirements and customer specifications for raw/ sliced/ cooked/ boxed product/ labels etc.
- Visually examine the product for quality, reject any unsuitable product, and bring issues to the attention of the team leader/ production leader/ production controller
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Production Operative is comfortable working in chilled or hot temperatures and standing on their feet for long periods of time. You should also be happy to handle uncooked meat.
Applicants will have basic English skills, be reliable and flexible.
