Night Hygiene Operative

Brilliant opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative for our client, picking and packing various uncooked pork meat products.

Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives in Bromborough.

The rate of pay is £15.05 per hour

Overtime is available after working over 42.5 hours and is paid at rate of £20.07 per hour

This role is full time working nights and the hours of work are:
- 7.40pm to 6.30am

Your Time at Work

- To ensure areas and equipment that are cleaned safely following all the safety instructions including using the correct PPE and equipment and to the required Hygiene standard in a timely manner in accordance with the site Hygiene plan.
- Ensure all electrical panels, switches, sockets, and sensors are bagged off prior to rinsing and washing
- Consider where waste is put and is it in the correct bin.
- Consider the amount of water/energy used and not be excessive
- Mindful of what is being washed down the drains and what could happen if not
- To ensure any reportable issues are reported to your manager or supervisor in a timely manner.
- To ensure that you work productively and efficiently with a strong team work ethic.
- Interact with the day shift operational teams and seek feedback around any issues that they may encounter
- To be aware that your role and the procedures are designed to ensure the safety and quality standards of the food we produce

- Previous experience of working in Hygiene team within a food manufacturing site. (Desirable)
- Keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health, safety, environment.
- Excellent team working ethic and skills.
- Good time keeping and attendance are essential.
- Follow the company handbook procedure and advice.
- Proactive and self-motivated

Chemical / COSSH Training (Desirable)
L2 Basic Food Hygiene certificate (Desirable)
