Warehouse Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's well-known busy site in Greenford.
The rate of pay is:
- Days £13.34 per hour
- Nights £14.83 per hour
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are:
- 08:00am to 16:00pm
- 12:00pm to 20:00pm
- 16:00pm to 00:00am
- 00:00am to 08:00am
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:
- Milk Picking -accurate manual picking of milk products to meet store and trunker requirements.
- Loading Vehicles - safe, accurate loading of vehicles, ensuring correct segregation and product integrity.
- Intake Checks - completion of intake temperature, date code, and quality checks in line with Food Safety standards.
- Intake Putaway - correct manual putaway of stock, following stock rotation (FIFO) principles.
- Milk Stock Counts - completion of daily and ad-hoc stock counts, identifying and escalating discrepancies.
- Unloading Trunker Deliveries - safe unloading of inbound vehicles, maintaining site safety and hygiene standards.
- Consolidation / Marshaling - preparing and consolidating orders to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch.

Essential Skills:
- Basic standard of English and Maths.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous warehouse or food distribution experience.
- Experience working in a chilled or food-handling environment.
- Familiarity with stock rotation and date code management.
