We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity, to join a newly acquired contract with G4S! The role will be to join the team as a Control Room Manager, working on a very modern corporate site.

Staffline are recruiting for Control Room Manager in Waterloo.

The hours of work are 4 on 4 off shifts working:

-7am to 7pm

The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum

To be successful for this role you will need a current CCTV SIA license or the ability to obtain one.

Your Time at Work

During your time as a Control Room Manager you will:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security control room, ensuring continuous monitoring of client site.
- Manage, lead, and motivate a team of Security Officers OOH
- Ensure all incidents, alarms, and emergencies are handled in accordance with company procedures and client requirements
- Act as the escalation point for serious incidents, coordinating response with mobile units, site security, and emergency services
- Monitor CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems, and remote monitoring platforms
- Ensure full compliance with SIA regulations, BS standards (e.g., BS 7499, BS 7958), and data protection laws (GDPR)
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, audit trails, and system logs
- Liaise with clients to ensure service expectations and KPIs are met or exceeded
- Develop and review Assignment Instructions (AIs), SOPs, and escalation procedures
- Conduct staff training, licensing checks,
- Support contract and system integration
- Manage control room audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance processes
- Ensure business continuity plans are in place and tested

Our Perfect Worker

- Strong leadership experience within a security operations environment
- Excellent knowledge of CCTV monitoring, alarm handling, and remote security systems
- Ability to make critical decisions quickly in high-pressure situations
- Strong understanding of SIA requirements and UK security industry standards
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, staff, and emergency services
- High attention to detail and strong report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously

A current CCTV SIA license or the ability to obtain one.
