Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client, a global food manufacturer. The Spalding site specialises in making deli sandwich wraps, a variety of ready-to-salad products, sauces, and dips, and lastly, a producer of soups.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Spalding.
The rate of pay is £14.99 per hour, Overtime is available and is paid at £18.74 per hour.
This full-time role offers rotating shifts, 5 out of 7, including weekends. The hours of work are:
- Week one 06:00am to 14:00pm
- Week two 14:00pm to 22:00pm

Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative at Bakkavor Spalding, you will work against an individual target to pick and pack a number of items on each shift. You will be fully trained in how to use any software systems the site uses, along with any mechanical aids required to move stock around the warehouse.
The environment is chilled.
Mechanical aids are on offer to support the movement of items around the warehouse; however, you will need to be able to pick items at pace, lift product cases of up to 20kg and be physically able to pick the number of desired items against a target set.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Warehouse Operative must have good English and Maths skills. Counting in numbers and multiplying numbers is essential.
Applicants must be able to work in low-temperature areas of work, and be available to work in various temperatures (some areas is below +5C).
You must be physically fit due to the nature of the role. You will be on your feet for the duration of the shift, and some lifting is involved (5-20 kg).
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
