Do you have 6 months of previous HGV Class 1 experience? If so, apply today to work as an HGV Weekend Driver for our client, a logistics and distribution company responsible for transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
Staffline is recruiting Weekend Drivers in Sittingbourne.
The rate of pay is:
- Saturday and Sunday Day £18.99 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Night £19.52 per hour
Potential consolidated rate of pay £21.00 - £21.80.
Various start times are available, Ad-hoc shifts.
Your Time at Work
As a HGV Weekend Driver you will be responsible for:
- Operating articulated heavy goods vehicles.
- Planning and following assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections (walkaround checks) before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assisting with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring items are handled safely and correctly.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have 6 months of class 1 driving experience, CPC and a tacho card. You will be able to accurately operate and maintain tachograph records.
