We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a site in Manchester.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour day shifts
Times: 06:00 to 18:00
Please note- you must be a British National and have been a resident in the United Kingdom for a minimum of 5 years and apply with a full CV for consideration for this role. This vacancy is subject to Special Clearance, which may take up to 3 months.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer at G4S, you will be entrusted with responsibilities beyond those of a conventional Security Guard. Your role will encompass ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, their premises, and assets, while consistently delivering exceptional customer service. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment and pride ourselves on adherence to stringent policies and regulatory requirements.
It's a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, including;
- Conducting searches where required
- Patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.
Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
