Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative, picking food products for a UK leading supermarket.

Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Northampton.

This is a full-time role, working any 5 days out of 7. The hours of work are:
- Morning shift: 6am to 2pm
- PM shift: 2pm to 10pm
- Night Shift: 10am to 6pm

The rate of pay is £13.49 per hour (increasing with £1 after 12 weeks) to £21.74 per hour.

There is a performance bonus paid weekly and overtime paid every 4 weeks.

Your Time at Work

As an Warehouse Operative, your role will include:

- Voice picking using LLOP trucks and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) technology within an ambient warehouse environment.
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Loading and building cages and pallets safely and securely.
- Working alongside automated warehouse systems and following all AMR operational procedures.
- Carrying out stock handling and general warehouse duties as required.
- Operating MHE equipment in line with training and site safety procedures.

This role is physically demanding and involves a high level of walking, manual handling, bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.

Heavy lifting of up to 25kg is required as part of this role.

- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required
- Have a key role in supporting our store colleagues by making sure orders are assembled correctly.
- Picking, stacking and manually handling stock items.
- Maintain a clear and tidy warehouse and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly and efficiently.
- Make sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards.
- Take responsibility for your own and others' safety whilst at work
- Work both independently and as part of a team

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
