Area Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for an Area Security Officer, to join the G4S team across the Luton and Milton Keynes area!
The role will be covering 4 or 5 sites in the Luton and Milton Keynes area. Where you will be working as a security officer, gaining knowledge and transferrable skills from multiple sites.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (can increase dependent on site worked)
Shift Pattern: 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Hours Per Week: 0 hours, full flexibility for day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday
SIA License: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
For this role you are required to hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
Your Time at Work
As a Area Security Officer, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Other duties include:
- Gatehouse duties
- Greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
- Conducting searches where required
- Patrolling the premises, and dealing with security incidents.
- Report writing and completing visitor site inductions
- Microsoft Office use
- Answering internal and external calls
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
