Security Officer

Join G4S as a Security Officer to join us at a busy site in Telford, working regular shifts where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

SIA licence essential.

Position: Security Officer
Location: Telford
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 42 hours a week contract

Shifts patterns available:

- Security Officer - Monday to Friday - Days and Afternoons (5.30am-2.00pm or 2.00pm-10.30pm) (Saturday overtime available when requested by the client.)
- Gatehouse Officer - 4 on 4 off (days/nights/weekends) - must be flexible.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties include:

- Greeting staff and visitors
- Controlling access in and out of the building
- Gatehouse duties
- Airport style searches of vehicles and personnel
- Scanning and searching of empty packaging
- Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
- Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
- Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
