Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client's leading food manufacturing site, which specialises in producing high-quality cooked and prepared food products for major retailers, food-service providers, and customers across the UK.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Huntingdon.

The rate of pay is £12.78 per hour.

This is a full-time role working a rotating shift pattern. The hours of work are:
- 2 weeks - 6am to 2pm
- Followed by 2 weeks - 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

- Working on a busy food production line, preparing and packing food products to company quality standards.
- Following food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) at all times.
- Rotating between different production tasks and workstations as required to support operational needs.
- Carrying out accurate stock handling and maintaining production records where required.
- Supporting Cell Leaders and Shift Leaders to achieve daily production targets and KPIs.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting other departments and production areas when required to meet business demands.
- Taking part in training and development activities to improve skills and performance.

- Repetitive manual handling and packing activities.
- Ability to lift and move products safely in line with company procedures.
- Comfortable working in chilled food manufacturing environments where applicable.
- Ability to wear required PPE and maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
