Production Operative

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Ellesmere

The rate of pay is £13.59-£17.00 per hour

This is a full-time role and the hours of work are:
- 7am till 3.30pm.
Sunday fixed rest day
One rotating rest day during the week

Free Transport Available
The site is easily accessible via the free company transport service departing from Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AH.
- Bus departs at 6:00am
- Approximate journey time: 30 minutes each way
- Return transport provided after shift
- Arrival back in Shrewsbury approximately 4:15pm to 4:30pm
Travel time is unpaid.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will work within a busy chilled food production environment processing beef into a range of products including burgers, meatballs and mince.

Your duties may include:
- Processing food products
- Packing products ready for distribution
- Quality checking finished products
- Working as part of a production team
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

- Be comfortable handling raw meat products
- Be happy working in a chilled production environment
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to work at a consistent pace
- Be capable of standing for long periods
- Be able to commit to the full shift pattern

Due to the nature of the role, you should be comfortable working with raw meat products and be physically capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
