General Operative

Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for our client, which provides a global source of specialised coatings on both small and large batch sizes.

Staffline is recruiting General Operatives in Bloxwich.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

As a General Operative your duties include:

- Preparing/cleaning metal parts for them to be painted at next stage
- Quality checking of the products
- Inserting/hanging car clamps, bolts, etc. in/onto the machine/hooks, so the parts can be painted
- Participating actively in continuous process improvement activities
- Keeping the immediate work area clean and tidy
- Following daily tool maintenance routines
- Meeting daily volume targets and quality standards

Please note: there will be some lifting involved.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good Attention to detail
- Ideally factory background

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
