Security Officer

TSS Security are recruiting for a Security Officer to work at a Distribution Centre in Teesport, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must have an SIA licence.

Position: Security Officer
Location: Teesport
Pay Rate: £12.85
Hours/ Shifts: Mixture of days and nights 05:00-17:00, 12:00-00:00 & 19:30-07:30 shifts

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

- Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
- Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
- Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
- Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
- Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
- Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayed
