Area Security Officer

Great opportunity to work as an Area Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

Contract Information:

Location: Covering sites around Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour minimum (rate dependent on site)
Shift Pattern: Mixed shift pattern - days, nights and weekends (usually 12 hour shifts, 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00)

You will require a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.

Applicants must have a full clean UK driving licence and your own transport to apply for this position.

Your Time at Work

As an Area Security Officer you role will include:

- Greeting staff and visitors
- Controlling access in and out of the building
- Patrolling the premises
- Dealing with disturbances
- Handling first aid incidents and reporting

It is important to have great communication and writing skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
