Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Birmingham!

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 42 hours a week
Shift Timings: 4 on 4 off nightshift - 1830-0630
SIA Licences: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor - CCTV is also required.

You must also have a Full UK Driving license and your own vehicle!

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties will include:

- Operational Duties: Conduct regular patrols (as directed by supervisors), log all incidents and faults accurately, and provide thorough shift handovers.
- Flexibility: Candidates must be flexible and willing to cover additional hours, including holidays, which may involve 12-hour shifts.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to site regulations, including health and safety protocols, uniform standards, and correct use of body-worn cameras.
- Professionalism: Maintain high standards of conduct and safety for yourself, colleagues, and the public.
- Training: While training is provided, you are expected to proactively raise requests for additional support if needed to complete requested tasks.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following:

- Be aged 18 or over
- To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
- Be a great communicator, verbally and in writing
- To have great customer service skills
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms

Experience in a similar role required
