To be considered you must have a minimum of an ASNT NDT LEVEL II Qualification, and proven experience with Magnetic Particle Testing & Penetrant Testing
In you new role as an NDT Inspector:
- Working within non-destructive testing, you will ensure that through Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), Acid Etch (AE), and Visual Inspection (VT) methods, product meets customer requirements.
- Where required you will compile work instructions, as well as other administration tasks.
- Managing inventory within the department will also be required
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
- Penetrant Flaw Inspection (PT)
- Acid Etch Inspection (AE)
- Perform Control and Calibration tests to ensure full compliance
- Timely completion of administration data
- Carry out inspection tasks in other areas when necessary
- Compile quality reports where required
- May be called upon to work within other areas of the quality department
- Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position
Essential to the role:
- Qualified to EN4179/NAS410 at Level II standard for Acid Etch (AE), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Dye Penetrant (PT) disciplines.
- Engineering background ideally within a manufacturing sector
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability and willingness to work within a team
The ability to read technical drawings is highly advantageous
Salary-depends on experience and number of disciplines-£27,000– £32,000
Working hours-Rotating shift pattern
A Shift Monday to Friday 6am to 1:35pm-Early finish on Friday
B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm-Early finish on Friday
