An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a proactive and dedicated Corporate Security Officer to contribute to our esteemed Head Office in the bustling heart of London. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour.
You must be flexible and available to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends on a 42 hpw contract.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer at Allied Universal, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a strong security presence by meeting, greeting, and assisting visitors, staff, and contractors professionally and courteously.
- Investigate all instances of suspicious activity promptly, following protocols and escalating issues to the control room as necessary.
- Provide assistance in emergencies, including first aid or fire evacuation.
- Maintain a clear and effective radio communication with the control room to ensure seamless coordination of security efforts.
- Oversee loading bay duties, including permit control ID checks, and handling deliveries.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security protocols and industry trends
- Monitor and control access to sensitive areas, ensuring only authorised personnel enter.
- Attend and contribute to regular security meetings to share insights and best practices.
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key alongside a high level of professionalism, a good attention to detail and a proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
The successful candidate will already hold a valid SIA license.
