We are currently looking for a van driver C1 to join medical company based in Rugby.
You will be working from Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm. (40 hours per week, unpaid breaks)
Rate of pay would be 12/hour.

To ensure that all deliveries/collections are made in a timely and efficient manner, meeting all the requirements of the
Customer's Health & Safety policy and company procedures, giving due attention to Risk Assessments for the job.
General Duties:
? Delivery and installation of pressure relieving equipment - This includes making sure that customers are
aware of operating and emergency procedures.
? To participate in rostered weekend and bank holiday 'on call' emergency cover
? To highlight to an appropriate member of the team potential sales opportunities
? To maintain all records of deliveries and collections and ensure copies are given to office administration
on a daily basis.
? To liaise with hospitals/Nursing homes and provide requested servicing information/training.
? Adherence to the uniform policy and wearing safety boots.
? Assisting with general warehouse duties as and when required.
? To provide cover in other operational areas as required
? You are responsible for your company vehicle, it must be cleaned inside and out regularly, and any
damage of faults need to be reported immediately to the Deputy General Manager.
? All relevant PPE must always be held on vehicles, and a daily defect form needs to be completed and
handed into your manager.
This job description shall not limit your role, you will also be expected to carry out any other duties that your

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
? Minimum 12 months experience in a Customer Service environment
? The jobholder should have logical and practical approach and be able to apply sound problem-solving skills.
? The jobholder must have good organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills and be able to work under
their own initiative.
? COSHH and Infection Control knowledge is essential
Qualifications / Registrations:
? Level 2 Education (min 2 GCSE / O levels)
? Enhanced DBS Check
? Full Driving License - to include C1 - with 12 months driving experience
Health & Safety:
? Do not interfere or tamper with items provided for health and safety reasons. These can include specialized
equipment, signage, and PPE
? Take care of yourself and others. You are responsible for your actions and omissions, and those of others you
have witnessed
? Co-operate with your Manager and communicate any health and safety issues
? If you are unsure at any time. STOP! And ask before you do something that could be classed as an unsafe act.
Special Features/Conditions:
? Due to the nature of the activity, there is a requirement to undertake work outside of normal working hours i.e.
evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
? The jobholder needs to respond to a constantly changing environment, responding to breakdowns etc. They
need to re-prioritize work with minimum impact on customer service levels
? The jobholder must have a clean driving license (held for a minimum of one year) and be able to route plan
effectively
? The jobholder must always be presentable and comply with the Company's dress code
? The jobholder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
