Inspection Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity to become a part of a Quality team, you will ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance/specifications efficiently and accurately, with a high attention to detail.
The role requires robust inspection practices and techniques to be employed, typically
through the creation and adjustment of CMM programs

Your Time at Work
· Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods

· Setting and adjusting CMM programs

· Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately

· Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution

· Where required work within other areas of the Quality department

· Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position

Our Perfect Worker
Essential

· Recognised CMM programmer training
· Working knowledge of Mitutoyo CMM's using COSMOS platform
· Ability to use various inspection equipment
· In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as well as the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
· Good verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

· Engineering knowledge base/background, ideally within Aerospace
· Working knowledge of ZEISS CMM's
· Computer literate
· Possess strong organisational skills

Key Information and Benefits
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm
Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

Overtime available.
