Quality Control Technician

Staffline has an exciting opportunity for a Food Production Operative to join our client Quality team as QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN.

The role will be based within the Abattoir and/or Boning Hall department. The role has also great progression routes through the Quality department.

Your Time at Work
Responsibilities will include but not subject to:

-visual carcass inspections and necessary trimming to agreed procedures and schedules
-checking for contamination and advising the department supervisor/QA of any issues on the production lines
-raise internal non-conformances when necessary and inform all relevant personnel
-complete daily inspection records
-adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production

Skills and personal qualities desirable for this role are:

-understand the importance of health, safety and hygiene
-previous work experience in the meat industry is desirable
-able to work in a fast-paced environment
- be methodical and pay attention to detail
-be able to build good working relationships with people.
