Great opportunity to work as an LGV Driver Carrier for Swansea City Council.

The rate of pay is £13.47 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, the hours of work are:
- 10am to 6pm

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Class 2 LGV Driving Licence and digital tachograph card, you will also hold a current valid CPC card,

Your Time at Work

As an LGV Driver Carrier, you will work as part of a refuse/recycling team to undertake duties concerned with a high level of performance both in terms of quality and output

Other duties include:

- Collection and removal of Domestic refuse, recycling material, and/or Commercial Waste.
- Undertaking duties concerned with the removal and collection of refuse/recycling from a variety of locations e.g. Domestic properties, high-rise flats, Schools, and Commercial premises.
- Politely encourage residents to take responsibility for their waste and encourage recycling.
- When not driving assist in the collection duties associated with any waste management job role.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will hold a minimum of a Class 2 LGV Driving Licence and digital tachograph card, you will also hold a current valid CPC card, and be able to operate vehicles to legally undertake the work to the required standard.

Work may be required in a variety of inclement weather conditions.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
