G4S is recruiting for an Area Security Officer in Oswestry

The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour.

Most of our roles operate on a day shift with sociable hours, generally 8:45am to 5:15pm, Monday to Saturday, however some flexibility to work out of hours as and when necessary will be required. You will cover several different sites in your area so no two days will be the same.

As this is a mobile position, you must have a full UK Driving License and your own vehicle.

Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for:

- Greeting staff and visitors
- Interacting with the general public, ensuring they follow security protocols keeping our customers and their premises secure
- Patrolling the premises and dealing with any security incidents
- Ensure visitors and staff are in a safe environment by de-escalating situations in a firm but respectful manner

Our Perfect Worker
It would be ideal if you have an SIA license or experience in security, but if not, then full training will be provided.

What's crucial is your great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech savvy enough to use our digital devices.

As this is a mobile position, you must have a full UK Driving License and your own vehicle.
