Service Yard Security Officer
We are looking to recruit a number of security officers to work within our service delivery team. As a Service Yard Security Officer you will be looking after the deliveries to the site and this will involve being outdoors for the duration of your shift.
This is a full time permanent position, working 6 days 06.00 -15.00hrs, 3 days off followed by 6 late shifts, 15.00 - 23.00hrs
Your Time at Work
You will be required to
- You must be able to work on your feet and outside for long periods of time, often during inclement weather conditions.
- Ensure a smart and professional image is displayed at all times
- Vehicle Search
- Checking vehicles in/out of loading dock
- Management of the loading bays/access to appropriate vehicles
- Assisting the general public and those that visit our clients site with any queries, problems or issues and signposting
- Ensure enforcement with park rules and by-laws
- Engaging with and managing contractor access to the park
- Ensure standards of dress, safety and presentation are maintained within our clients site at all times
- Show and demonstrate initiative where possible
- To adapt to any incident within the venue in a professional manner and manage it accordingly
- Provide a visual deterrent to any criminality, gang activity or anti-social behaviour
- Incident response
- Must be able to read, understand and follow all site related processes and procedures, as laid down in assignment Instructions.
Our Perfect Worker
Relevant industry experience while not essential is preferred, although it is expected that the candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the unique features of the industry including licensing, events, public space and corporate environments.
