Warehouse Team Manager - Meat Production (Day Shifts)
Location: Winsford
Shift Pattern: Days | 42 hours per week
I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic Warehouse Team Manager position with one of the UK's leading food distribution and processing businesses-this role is based at a busy, fast-moving meat production site.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-pressure, hands-on environment and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career. You'll play a key role in ensuring daily operational success, leading from the front to motivate and guide your team while driving efficiency, safety, and performance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading a team within the warehouse to meet daily KPIs across productivity, safety, and quality
- Delivering shift briefs, allocating tasks, and maintaining strong team engagement
- Creating action plans to improve standards, reduce costs, and enhance performance
- Coaching and developing your team to support progression and talent growth
- Monitoring performance against targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and pest control standards are always met
- Supporting a positive, safe, and well-organised working environment across the shift
We're Looking For Someone With:
- Supervisory/management experience in a warehouse or production setting - ideally within meat or fresh food manufacturing
- A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage large teams
- Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with performance metrics, cost management, and compliance standards
- A positive mindset, a strong work ethic, and a drive to deliver results
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unionised environment
