Great opportunity to work as a Production Support professional for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

Staffline is recruiting for a Production Support professional to work in Alconbury.

The rate of pay is:
£14.46 per hour

This is a full-time role, with shifts from 7am to 7pm:
- Week 1: Wednesday to Saturday
- Week 2: Thursday to Saturday

Your Time at Work

In the Production Support role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our production floor by supporting the Production Manager and Section Managers.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing production rotas and maintaining accurate scheduling records
- Updating staff information, holidays, and absences in HR systems
- Cross-checking agency statements against hours worked and purchase orders
- Assisting with onboarding, training records, and general admin
- Acting as the first point of contact for production operatives with queries
- Supporting Section Managers with shift planning and staffing records
- Ensuring compliance with company standards, safety policies, and production targets
- Maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a safe working environment
- Identifying and suggesting opportunities to improve efficiency and quality

Our Perfect Worker

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple tasks while working independently and as part of a team.

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Skills and Qualities
- Strong administrative skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using HR and production tracking systems (e.g., MIMO, MyMM)
- Good understanding of rota planning, absence tracking, and holiday scheduling
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and strong time management
- A collaborative team player who is passionate about operational success
- Willingness to uphold health & safety standards and drive continuous improvement
