Brilliant opportunity to work as a Print Room Operative for our client's busy Fruit and Vegetable Production Site.
Temporary to permanent opportunity!
Staffline is recruiting for Print Room Operatives in Chatteris.
The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour.
Overtime is available at this site after working 48 hours and is paid at £15.69 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts, with the start time of 7am and the finish time varying between 4pm - 7pm.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Your Time at Work
As a Print Room Operative at this site, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Print produce pack labels and box ends in accordance with orders in a timely manner
- Send produce pack label / pre-printed film information to the online printers in a timely manner
- Record and continuingly try and reduce packaging wastage
- Administer the allocation and retrieval of production ancillaries for example scales, scissors, etc.
- Count the stock of packaging and customer trays
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Print Room Operative is hard-working, reliable, and has a keen eye for detail.
They are comfortable completing documentation accurately and efficiently.
They will possess a good level of verbal and written English and previous packhouse experience.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
