Staffline is recruiting for x2 Implant Operations Specialist for DHL. These are both for 20 hours per week and permanent positions with DHL. You will be based onsite 5 days a week in Westhampnett, Chichester.

Reporting to the Implant Operations Specialist Supervisor, the successful candidates will ensure all internal processes are adhered to and remain compliant at all times, along with being an integral part in fulfilling their client's requirements.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 17:00 (4 hours a day and to be discussed at interview), please be aware that shift pattern flexibility will be required to ensure full office hours coverage in the event of absence.

Your Time at Work
As an Implant Operations Specialist, you'll work alongside various departments at their client's onsite location to ensure that the processing of shipments is both compliant and timely.
Work proactively with their client to process shipments and/or support with expertise and advice on moving shipments effectively and in a compliant manner, exception management and information sharing.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the relationship with their client.
- Manage various requirements e.g. DHLE Intraship processing, coordination of Hazardous Shipments, coordination of emergency shipments whilst looking for additional business opportunities.
- Promoting DHL services, products and pricing.
- Build an in-depth knowledge of the business, operations and processes.
- Proactively develop the current service offering and continuously strives to exceed expectations.
- Processing of domestic, EU and third country (non eu) shipments daily. This will include the creations of shipping documents, including but not limited to commercial invoices, pro forma invoices, packing lists, relevant permits, dangerous goods declarations, ATA carnets and consular documents.
- Co-ordination and processing of shipments through various systems.
- Ensure departmental shipment processing is executed in line with DHL and client procedures
- Support head office and productions teams with solutions for managing special and/or urgent transportation requests, often looking at the wider DHL family for alternative solutions
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies on Quality and Customs.
Full training will be given.

- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Good networking and influencing skills.

Desirable, but not essential:
- Previous experience forwarding and or relevant transport, supply chain, logistical experience and able to demonstrable capability in customer facing roles.
- In-depth understanding of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
