- Working pattern: 8 hour days rotating Monday to Friday, NO Nights, EVER!

- Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production lines in a factory site Process and Packaging environment. Their job combines machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and process improvement to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing.

Your Role - Technical Production Operator - Dat Shifts
As a Technical Operator / Production Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your main responsibilities include
- Maintain, operate, and improve manufacturing processes
- Carrying out machine changeovers and tooling adjustments
- Driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production performance
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Operating Machinery that process, convert and make materials
- Running automated or semi-automated machines
- Adjusting machine settings to maintain product quality
- Monitoring performance to ensure smooth operation
- Diagnosing and fixing minor mechanical or technical faults
- Reporting more complex issues to the engineering team
- Line Changeovers & Setup
- Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
- Checking finished products for defects
- Ensuring all processes meet health, safety, and quality standards
- Recording data on performance and quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas to improve speed, efficiency, and waste reduction
Role Requirements & Skills - Technical Production Operator - Dayshifts
- Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, food, packaging automotive, chemicals, or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on with machines and equipment
- A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering/mechanics is a plus
- Mechanically minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work
- Problem solvers who can think quickly on their feet
