Technical Operators/Machine Technicians

4 on 4 off shift pattern, Days OR Nights
6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.
Salary
Days-£30,500
Nights-£34,200
We are looking for experienced Machine Technicians, our ideal candidate will have mechanical/ electrical skills.
In your new role as a Machine TechnicianTechnical Operator
- Operation of bespoke machines.
- Perform quality control
- Perform technical cleaning of equipment.
- Repair/refurb components that are used in the machines.
- Responsible for the upkeep of tools/toolboxes in ensuring having all the tools at hand all the time.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the Production workshop in both using and cleaning.
- Preventative/Reactive maintenance of automated Production lines.
- Maintain high standards of H&S practices
- Able to assist our external software support by having good communication skills to resolve issues/concerns with the Production machines.
- Actively looking to improve on Productivity and share this drive with other shifts.
- Be able to train others in due course.
Key Skills and Experience required
- Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous
- Pneumatic maintenance experience
- Analytical & Basic Computer Skills
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to read diagrams, technical drawings & manuals.
- Ability to fault find to component level.
- Ability to understand production planning to ensure production flow.
- Excellent time management.
- Able to work under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and challenge data.
