Van Driver

Great opportunity to work as a Van Driver for our client based in Lichfield.

The rates of pay are:
- £12.60 per hour and after 12 weeks £13.22 per hour.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday shifts. The hours of work are:

- 7am and finish around 4pm. Working week 45hrs

Your Time at Work
Key Responsibilities:
- This role involves handball of premium furniture in two-man delivery crews, with both parties working as drivers and assemblers equally.
- Build products which are most often heavy and cumbersome to get into homes, use tools safely and appropriately and most importantly support customers' needs
- Deliver excellent polite and personable service in homes.
- Customer facing presentation will be required.
- Using PDAs to scan and sign on delivery, all loads are loaded, strapped and secured prior.
- Securing occasional returned stock would be required but is minimal.

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker must be physically fit and proficient in using basic hand tools as heavy lifting involved.
Driving license, no more that 6 points for speeding is permitted, no endorsements other that SP30s please and 22 years upwards for insurance.
Excellent polite and personable service to a customer.
Happy with heavy lifting.
Experience in similar role desirable, but not essential.
