Great opportunity to work as a Transport Scheduler for our client in Gadbrook.

Staffline is recruiting Transport Scheduler in Gadbrook.

The rate of pay is £12.40 per hour.

Full time role working 4 off 4 on shift pattern and the hours of work are 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work
As a Transport Scheduler your duties include:
- Ensure that GTS and Microlise housekeeping is continually updated.
- Input trailer numbers as soon as practical to do so.
- Monitor and report compliance issues / concerns to Operations team.
- Briefing & De-briefing own/ Agency drivers.
- Liaise with Customer services to ensure customer is aware of any potential delays or real time issues. (To ensure Planners and their Manager are made aware of any late deliveries being despatched.
- Liaise with on-site team members to ensure data being presented to the customer is accurate.
- Co-ordinate the debrief process ensuring driver vehicle checks, WTD, pallets, signatures and PODs are correctly dealt with.
- Efficiently and accurately despatch Drivers with any relevant delivery paperwork or other required information.
- Monitor the Depot Vehicle Keyboard to ensure adequate vehicle capacity to meet demand, escalating any concerns if necessary.
- Assist with Driver Control and GTS housekeeping as directed by on shift management. + Support Customer Service team as required, including monitoring Customer Services Reporting Line (CSRL) in absence of Help Desk clerks.
- Act as point of contact for queries prior to collection/after delivery and re direct to appropriate person.
- Assist in investigation of late/failed deliveries to provide root cause information to Contract Manager
- Ensure accuracy of information reported at all times
- Update required logs/spreadsheets daily
