Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative at our client's busy fresh produce site with immediate starts!
Staffline is recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to work in Elm.
This is an ongoing position with a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
You must have your own transport to get to and from the site.
The rate of pay is:
- Night Shift £15.30 per hour
Overtime is available after working 37.5 hours and is paid at:
- Night Shift £18.70 per hour
As a Hygiene Operative you will be required to work 5 on 3 off with additional overtime offered but not expected.
The shifts for this position are:
- Nights, 00:30am-10:00am
Your Time at Work
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all factory equipment is cleaned to the highest standards, meeting microbiological and customer specifications within agreed timeframes. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and productive working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deep cleaning of factory equipment following strict hygiene procedures
- Ensuring equipment is ready and safe for production use
- Following health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
- Working in accordance with COSHH regulations and GMP guidelines
- Proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Preventing cross-contamination and water ingress issues
- Supporting continuous improvement and contributing to hygiene excellence
- Communicating any issues or concerns to your team leader
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Hygiene Operative is a reliable and safety-conscious individual with a strong attention to detail. You will be proactive, able to follow procedures precisely, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards.
You must be able to communicate effectively in English and understand written instructions to ensure documentation and procedures are followed accurately.
Experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
