Parts Advisor, Permanent Job-Full-time, on-site
Working hours-Rotating
Week 1-Monday-Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
Week 2-Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Salary D.O.E
Please note: You will be required to work alternate Saturday mornings till noon
To be considered for this role:
- You will have experience/knowledge of the automotive industry
- Previous experience in a parts environment as a parts advisor
- Knowledge of the parts computer systems-Kerridge
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service
- Teamship
- Current and clean UK driving license
In your new role as the Parts Advisor
- Interpret customer needs and supply goods as requested by thorough knowledge of parts catalogue.
- Order parts in line with operational needs.
- Check and booking incoming stock against delivery notes and store stock in correct location, updating computer with goods received in an accurate manner.
- Assist with delivery and collection of parts as required.
- Ensure that all outgoing stock, and returns are checked, packaged, and documented correctly.
- Ensure adequate stock control maintained and assist with regular stock take.
- Invoice all parts supply in a timely manner.
- Input/extract information from the computer systems.
- Assist with warranty returns and old unit stock returns.
- Returning supplier packaging.
- Working closely with dayshift technicians and foreman
