Role: Assembly Fitter

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £30,000

Shift: 6am – 2pm (6am – 12midday on Friday)

This market leading engineering company are recruiting for Assembly Fitter to join their site in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to various industries across the globe.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Assembling, testing, painting, and packing standard product ranges.
•  Operating and setting machines in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•  Working from engineering drawings and daily plans to meet production targets.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
•  Engaging with continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas.
•  Supporting team operations flexibly and developing your own personal development plan.
•  Collaborating with internal teams including production management, planning, engineering, maintenance, and quality.

Skills / Experience:

• Proven experience of fitting and assembly in a production manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
• Ability to work on daily plans and tasks using numeracy and literacy skills
