Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Rochdale.
The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour, with a 45-minute unpaid break Monday to Friday.
Overtime is available and is paid at:
- Over 40.83 hours, £18.75 per hour
- Sundays, £25.00 per hour
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 2:10pm to 23:15pm
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative your duties include:
- Working in a busy factory, producing and packing gammon and bacon.
- Preparing pork for smoking, curing or drying into gammon and bacon joints.
- Nursing metapress and injectors to produce the product and packing onto racks.
- Packing joints into boxes and packets to be sent to the customer.
- Hygiene Cleaning the factory and equipment.
- Loading trays into a large industrial machine.
- Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness procedures are followed at all times (e.g. hand-washing, knife sterilizing and kit wash-down), food safety is a key imperative.
- Competently performing any other tasks for which training has been completed and signed off.
- Being an ambassador for the business at all times, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers.
- Strict adherence to Health Safety rules and procedures.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be physically fit, as there is some manual handling and you will be able to stand for long periods of time.
You will be a great team player and be reliable and punctual.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
