Quality Controller

Apply today to work as a Quality Controller for our client, a producer, importer, wholesaler, and marketing company for fresh fruits and vegetables. Their core assortment includes a wide variety of items such as tomatoes, peppers, carrots, radishes, various salads, cabbage, apples, pears, and berries.

Staffline is recruiting Quality Controllers in Spalding.

The rate of pay is £13 per hour.

This is a full-time role working shifts and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

As a Quality Controller you will be responsible for:

- Checking the purchase order, packing list, delivery note, and any certificates.
- Confirming that the delivered items match the ordered items in quantity, specifications, and part numbers.
- Examining packaging for visible damage such as tears, dents, moisture, or contamination.
- Verifying labeling, batch/lot numbers, expiration dates (if applicable), and product identification.
- Inspecting product attributes such as dimensions, weight, color, material quality, and workmanship.
- Ensuring products meet industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Confirming that safety markings and compliance labels are present.
- Logging all inspection results in the QC system or inbound inspection form (tabled use for it).

Our perfect worker will have great communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. You will be happy to work on your feet in a chilled environment.

Applicants will need technical, inspection, documentation and system skills.

Experience in a similar role is required.
