Staffline is recruiting Packhouse Supervisors in Spalding.
The rate of pay is £15.87 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 5pm
Your Time at Work
As a Packhouse Supervisor your duties include:
- Ensuring the smooth flow of produce from intake through grading, sorting, packing, and dispatch.
- Monitoring productivity on the packing line, adjusting staffing as needed, and resolving operational issues quickly.
- Making sure packaging materials, equipment, and resources are available and functioning.
- Supervises, schedules, and trains packhouse workers to maintain high performance and efficiency.
- Providing hands-on support at all times and helps motivate the team.
- Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed and addressing performance issues when needed.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have good English skills, spoken and written. You will have a strong but friendly personality and be willing to achieve targets. You must be able to motivate the team with a proactive behaviour, an independent and hands-on mentality.
Applicants will be friendly and determined, understand that we need to work on targets and understand how to keep on the loop with workers without losing time.
You must have good computer skills, the capacity to put orders into the system, be willing to learn the consumer-friendly computer system and insert data like packing processes, inbounds of product, outbounds, print labels, print pallet ID cards, and write emails.
