Staffline is recruiting for Line Leader - Cut Packhouse in Chichester.
We're looking for someone who's hands-on, switched-on, and ready to lead from the shop floor for our client based in Chichester.
The rate of pay is £30,139.00 per annum.
This is full time role working 4 on 3 off shift pattern and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 3.30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Line Leader, you'll take charge of up to three operational packing lines. You'll make sure your section runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently delivering top-quality products on time, every time. This role isn't just about keeping things moving, it's about continuous improvement, smart thinking, and setting a great example for your team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Running your packing lines like a well-oiled machine. Making sure quality, safety, and efficiency are always on point.
- Making sure your team has the right training, the right kit, and the right mindset to do a great job.
- Hitting the numbers that matter, KPIs like waste reduction, OEE, packs per person per minute, and more.
- Keeping communication flowing between departments , from your team to runners, printers, quality and the next shift.
- Solving problems, spotting opportunities, and driving better ways of working.
- Supporting continuous improvement and helping shape how we do things next.

- A practical leader who knows how to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
- Someone who cares deeply about quality, safety, and getting things right first time.
- A team motivator who can train, guide, and support others to hit high standards.
- Great communicator - clear, calm, and confident.
- Experience in food production or fast-paced manufacturing is ideal, but not essential if you're keen to learn.
